My Bio
Contrary to what most of my writing would suggest about my personality, I am well-adjusted, harboring no secret trauma, and only talk about the meaning of life once a week. Just thought I'd say that before I go on.

I'm in middle school right now.

Poetry is my area of expertise, and my chosen medium. I've been writing since I was in fourth grade. I mostly do free-verse, but I love experimenting with forms. I'm looking for places in Kansas to be published, any recs?

There's a story I would like to write. I don't know all of it, but I think I know who it's about.

I'm not particularly good at drawing; almost all of my works have been slaved over for at least a week because I kept erasing. This being said, I try to do the very best I can with my limited abilities. Which pretty much means lots of abstract stuff.

Fan-wise, right now I'm totally in love with Discworld, Sherlock, Young Justice (thanks GossamerWing!), and Dr. Who. Notice how only one of those is an American series? And about superheros?
I'm a longstanding Bleach and Fullmetal Alchemist fan as well, and go through brief periods where all I can read/watch is xxxHolic and Tsubasa. I love Little Women and Good Wives dearly, because everybody has their feel-good books, right?

I'm going to see Florence and the Machine. LIVE. You do not know how much joy this brings me. U2 kicks butt in a polite and occasionally religious way, and Coldplay is excellent alternative pop. Oh, and I LOVE DAUGHTER! because more people need to listen to her music. The world would be a better place.

I sing. Loudly. And play piano, but not particularly well. I wish I could play guitar, but my friend does, and does so epically, so I don't need to.

Please enjoy my gallery. I hope you find something you like.

Just watched "Turning the Tides", and I am DYING for the next episode. Who else just about had a heartattack when General Iroh showed up?! My bet is that he's Zuko's grandson. I am so ready to see the royal family kick some butt in the next episode. And Lin! Why!? Why her bending!? I nearly cried! Geez. Asami did NOT look happy either. Mako needs to get his act together and sort his relationship out. And then date Korra. Glad Pema turned out okay.

I just listened to Florence + the Machine's album Ceremonials for the first time. And I am shocked and astonished and blown away and almost crying because it is EVERY BIT AS GOOD AS I THOUGHT IT WOULD BE. For about thirty minutes I danced around my room with my eyes closed. I FELT the music in my chest, in my mouth, in my arms and legs. It was incredible. I've never felt music like that before, never experienced it that way. And the songs! Oh my God! Each and every one is perfect, brilliant, and really without adjectives worthy to describe them. Thank you, God, for Florence and the Machine.
